Financial policies
Rental fees: The contract will specify the total rental cost, which may be a flat fee or an hourly rate. The total fee may not include additional charges like cleaning, equipment rental, or overtime fees.
Security deposit: A refundable security or damage deposit is almost always required to cover potential property damage and enforce cleanup rules. The conditions for a full refund of this deposit should be clearly stated in the agreement.
Payment schedule: A booking deposit, 30% of the total cost, is required to secure your reservation. The contract will state the due date for the remaining balance, which is typically due before the event.
Overtime fees: Venues charge extra if your event, including setup and cleanup, exceeds the agreed-upon timeframe.
Event and usage policies
Capacity limits: Venue has a maximum capacity based on fire and safety regulations. Overcrowding is a serious violation that can lead to fines or event shutdown.
Usage hours: We will discuss and customize as per requirement of clients.
Allowed decorations: We prohibit certain types of decorations, such as not tempering existing fixtures and walls.
No-smoking policy: AC Hall area enforce a strict no-smoking policy.
Property and furniture: You are responsible for any damage to the venue's property and for returning the space to its original condition.
Music and noise: We enforce strict noise and music cut-off times to comply with local ordinances.
Food and beverage: Have no specific policies regarding catering, including whether outside vendors are allowed.
Cancellation and liability policies
Cancellation policy: We have a tiered cancellation policy that dictates how much of a refund you receive based on how far in advance you cancel.
Unforeseen circumstances: A "force majeure" clause in the contract addresses event cancellation due to extraordinary events like natural disasters.
Liability and security: The rental agreement typically includes liability clauses that determine who is responsible for accidents or injuries during the event. We may also require you to obtain event insurance to protect against financial risks.
Belongings: Chader Haat is generally not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen personal property belonging to you or your guests.
